What about Audio Cassettes?

Anyone who grew up in the 80's and 90's most likely remembers the classic cassette, and the Micro-Cassette would be familiar to anyone who either carried a personal audio recorder, or owned a 80's/90's era answering machine that used them.

I still have a handful of classic cassettes from the 80’s which I originally bought blank, and on one of them I recorded me and a few friends playing with a microphone.

Additionally, I have a micro-cassette of a conversation from about 2007 with friends at an iHop discussing the plot to a potential short film we wanted to produce.

I also have a tape of my grandfather talking about his time in WWII, which I might otherwise not have now if I didn’t have a way to preserve it beyond its physical format.

If you have any recordings like that on tape, what are the chances you might have a voice recording from your youth? Or perhaps the voice of someone special who may no longer be with us? Consider getting them turned into CD's, or even downloadable MP3 files that you can enjoy from any smart device or computer, and share easily with anyone.
